Standup paddleboard yoga (or SUP yoga) is asana practiced on 10- to 12-foot-long boards on the ocean at Tahunanui beach, on the river or during the winter months we practice inside, at the Aquatic Center Richmond.
If you’re looking for a new challenge, Yoga on a stand up paddleboard will reinvigorate you and help you become stronger. Together with Moana NZ SUP Claire aims to introduce you to a unique Yoga experience while enjoying the natural splendor of floating on water.
During winter we ran a class at the ASB Aquatic Center Richmond. It was 45 minutes of FUN!! It also provided a great and safe opportunity to experience SUP Yoga in a controlled environment, all in preparation for a fun summer of beach Yoga and SUP Yoga.
